Exam board changes exam results!!

Is it fair that some of us who were told we had a C, haven’t got our C in English? NO!
I’m sure you all have heard that Ofqual forced an exam bored to change its GCSE English grade boundaries TWO weeks before the results were given out! Is it fair that all these students which were predicted a C haven’t got it and now have to all re sit English next year?! One student who got in touch was Chloe Brooks from Doncaster told us that she can’t go to college this year because she didn’t get her C. So she said she has to stay at school for another year to take her exam again.

In ‘The Sun’ newspaper an article was wrote about John Townsley, who is a head teacher and ex Ofqual board member. He gave us his views on the situation from his point of view. He said “Glen Stacey who works for Ofqual should resign anyway, we can see in the most certain terms possible that ofqual are creating pressure to the awarding body concerned in order to bring down the number of C grades awarded” But ofqual said it was part of the regulator’s job to ensure that standards are kept the same and comparable with other years.
